Very heartfelt, thought-provoking book. It's sure to appeal to readers on a personal level & hopefully compel other young women to share their stories & begin their own healing process.
Amazing read and amazing author! Very inspiring and telling.
The poetry in this book is incredible, it definitely stands out. I also love how this book focuses more on the aftermath and seeking help, then the actual attack. It's important for women, and all victims, to know that there is help out there, and that they are not alone...Fantastic read, definitely recommend.

How To Heal A Papercut is the courageous testimony of a young woman's experience overcoming sexual abuse. The book serves to help others who were or who currently are in situations similar to hers. It skillfully combines introspective thinking, hindsight perspective, and beautiful poetry to guide/motivate other survivors to seek out help. An amazing read!
I thought it was very insipiring. I like that the book not only tells her story but also provides women who went through what she went through with important contact information and resources to call to get help so they won't suffer alone. I also like how she compared life's ups and downs to seasons, summer, winter, fall and spring. And her poem of the assault was very well written. especially when she said if God's the painter, then I'll be the muse.
this is a must read - especially for our young adults.
